Dear Friends and Neighbors:
The Town of Hamden will be celebrating its bicentennial on July 12 and 13 of 2025, with a weekend of fun for all ages. It is also a bicentennial for the first game of organized baseball ever played and in Hamden with the same dates but in 1825.
Volunteers meet at the Hamden Town Hall each month to plan the event. Please check our town website minutes for the exact dates of the meetings. Our events to name a few are baseball games, cornhole tournament, parade, 5k run/walk, square dance, food trucks and vendors, history tours, history interpreters, history books, commemorative merchandise and much, much, more.
We need your help with fundraising, organizing, and most importantly to underwrite the events themselves. You can make a tax-deductible donation to Hamden Bicentennial Fund, 20 Covert Hollow, Box 2, Hamden New York 13782.
Please come and support our Bicentennial celebration for our Town and for Baseball! Thank you so much.
